Hulk retcons

Ok I am a little confused by recent Hulk continuity: help me out!

1)So PAD did a Hulk comic based on the video game that seemed to be tied into real Marvel 616 continuity. Has this mini supplanted the old origin of Abomination?

2)is it true that most(if not all) of Bruce Jone's run merely dreams created by Nightmare? Is Betty still dead? Did Bruce not screw Abomination's ex?

PAD didn't explicitly retcon Jones's run, but he did create a situation where anything he didn't like could be written off as Nightmare's manipulation of Hulk's memories or Captain Marvel's universal reboot.

The Abomination and Absorbing Man stuff is definitely out. Not sure about Betty.

wow so Bruce jones goes and makes Hulk one of Marvels top selling books again( it's the reason I started reading it again) and Marvel responds by Crapping all over his run. Thanks marvel we never Expected anything more from you.

The HULK/THING mini-series with Jae Lee was an unmitigated disaster.

It always sucks when a writer you like gets their work undone so things can go back to the same old thing, but . . . that's comics for you. It's a "what've you done for me lately" business.

What are the Hulks current powers like. I mean how does he turn?how long? Does bruce have any control when he changes? How strong is he?

I don't read Hulk at all but I just had all these questions.

I think it's been said That the current hulk is Somwhere between Mr. Fixit and Savage Hulk in terms of brain power. He not Currentlly up to Full Strengh due to Being Pulled though a wormhole but we should know soon in Planet HULK. I don't know about his ability to Change but I think it's going to be addressed in the Giant Size Hulk coming up.
Also you should be Reading Planet HULK if you like hulk even a tiny bit this story is great.

I know the continuity is important to some, but I wouldn't worry about it too much. I mean, I'm sure I'm not the only one who didn't even read David's return to the Hulk after the lame first couple of issues, so as far as I'm concerned the Abomination and Absorbing Man stuff is as real as anything else. Oh yeah, plus, it's all fiction anyway. What does it matter if the stuff with Jones bringing Betty back is real or not...someone will eventually, and it will probably be just as implausible.

I agree.His run started out good but after awhile it just got straight out boring.The book was called The Incredible Hulk.Not the Incredible Bruce Banner.

Not to disrespect Jones' work (cause a lot of it was real good) but SOME of his stuff probably should be retconned. Or at least in my opinion.
