DC is offering Wildstorm subs for the first time. Wildcats & the Authority. 12 issues for $23.99. Speaking as someone without a LCS within 100 miles, this is great news.

are they doing this to up WS' sales or is the studio doing better than we thought?

It's probably doing just as bad as we think it's doing at the moment, but DC did bring Majestic over to the DCU, Captain Atom over to the WSU, are bringing an all star cast of writers over for the relaunch, are giving Simone and Ennis creator owned titles at WS Signature (presumably as an incentive to keep them at Wildstorm), and are having their Art Dept. goldenboy (Mr.Lee) draw for Wildstorm's most well known titles, and now this.

It seems like DC is putting all their eggs in one basket and I'd be suprised if they don't hype the $#!+ outta this relaunch. I honestly don't think (or maybe want to believe) that DC is doing this for more money. They've got other products that they can give this sort of attention to.
