That was my expression when I heard the score this morning and realized my office pool bracket picks were toast.

That game blew my mind. They totally took a dump on the court at the end. Hey, Adam. Smile. You're gonna be a multi-millionaire pretty soon.

What's that on his lip? He looks like he's been tossin' salads.

Hmm. I guess that'd explain the look on his face. I guess he forgot the syrup.

(I don't know who the hell that is, so my comments aren't gonna be about the game. I just know a bunch of folks were surprised - some pleasantly, some not.)

I have a 10 year old son (fourth grade too - is that what you teach?) . . . my wife says I'm not teaching him good sportsmanship when I gloat in aother team's loss.

She's right.

I gloat anyway.

Yeah, speaking of which, your cousin says to stop calling.

When I was two my dad taught me to say "Tomcats suck," in reference to the rival high school.

(I teach second, actually.)

Yeah, but he's so charming.

Stemming from the Duke/UK game with the most re-played last second shot in history I'm sure.

I was at a wedding.

We all remember where we were.

Every year, every highlight reel, every goddam show ever.

I hate that shot.

You hate Laettner more though, like all UK fans I guess.
Just look at the fucking scoreboard.

Laetner did his job.

I could do without the replays, though.

Trajan Langdon Redux.

As a UConn fan, I hate Duke with a passion. I root against them against pre-season opponents, regular season opponents, ACC tourney opponents, and any and all opponents in the Big Dance. It's just impossible not to do it.

This still sets up my LSU/UConn final, though Gonzaga losing busted up my other bracket. Now if Boston College can beat Georgetown in one final, and UConn beat the Wichita State/George Mason winner, I've still got a shot at 3 of the final four.....a long shot, but still a shot.

Whammy!
