Has anyone noticed Echo hasn't exactly done anything in New Avengers yet. And is even missing from the current storyline. Do you think we all got our wish and this characer no one cares about has just "dissappeared." And no one will ask any questions about her, or mention her again. Just like the middle sister in Family Matters.

Didn't she say she was going right back to Japan to clean things up? Just like the middle sister in Family Matters.
She's going to end up in porn? You're thinking of Karen Page, DD's other girlfriend.

Plus the storyline with Echo, in Marvel time, likely just happened several days ago. She was pretty beat up and is probably still recovering. She was primarily brought in because of the Ninja aspect of the storyline. She wouldn't be real useful in the current arc, so no wonder she wasn't asked to accompany the team.

I'm sure we'll see her again.

Probably due to the fact that she said herself she wasn't going to be a main character for the Avengers, I honestly don't understand why the covers keep featuring her. In anycase she seems to be a reserve member right now.

I think Bendis mentioned she was going to be part of the supporting cast in Spider-Woman.

because echo is running around town pretending to be daredevil right now. (that's just a theory and keep in mind i haven't picked up dd#83 yet so if that book says otherwise then i'm wrong)

I think on the Civil war Q&A thread it was mentioned Ronin would play a part in civil war.

I still wonder if "Ronin" is going to be a rotating slot for other characters. Or be used by Silver Samurai, who frankly would make a lot more sense with the name Ronin, and has been more important to the plot.

I'd assume she's on the cover because Solicits are released three months in advance. Makes you buy the issue, because Ronin will FINALLY be in it. ...sort of!
