Hahaha, that's true! Of course, Ali wouldn't let it even come to that. He even threatened to hit her and she'd lazer a hole through his head!

Nah, I don't like Hank. I have loved certain stories about him, such as his fall from grace and rehabilitation that began around Avengers 220 and went right up to Avengers West Coast 25 or so. However, him as a character I am not really interested. He bores me and I think he's too whiney.

I'm old school all the way when it comes to the Avengers.

My 10 Favourites (in order)

1. Scarlet Witch - the heart of the team before Bendis destroyed her
2. Hawkeye - the soul of the Avengers
3. Vision - just a great character, with a lot of interesting history with the team.
4. Captain America - the ultimate leader. the spirit of the Avengers
Beast - Jovial man-ape Beast, not morbid never leaves the lab kitty Beast
5. Wasp - Once Stern got his hands on her, she became one of the best Avengers leaders ever.
6. Thor - One of Marvel's coolest characters, and a mainstay of any Avengers team.
7. Wonder Man - Easpecially if the Beast is on board. These guys had an endearing friendship that most writers seem to have forgotten about
8. Iron Man - Another mainstay of any Avengers team.
9. Black Panther - A great character that always adds something interesting to the mix.
10. Spider-Woman - The only new addition to the team that I actually like.

10 Least favourite:

1. Wolverine - I'm sick to death of seeing this guy everywhere. He works better in the X-Men.
2. Sentry - I find this character to be pretty boring.
3. Deathcry - Lame attempt to infuse 90's X-Men "kewlness" into the Avengers.
4. Rage - Not a very interesting character, didn't fit in Avengers
5. Sandman - A strange choice for Avengers membership. Didn't really fit.
6. Magdalene - Just a nothing character.
7. The Thing - A great character, but always works better in the family model of the FF.
8. Gilgamesh - Could have been an interesting character, but nothing interesting was done with him.
9. Moon Knight - Not a bad character, but I don't like him in the Avengers.
10. Luke Cage - Ditto.

Vision-Where goes Wanda goes...the bland robot, who needs the avengers
Wonder Man-loved him since i can remember.
Hawkeye-cause he's a sh*t starter
Beast-gotta have Wondy's bud

Wolverine-what the fu*k is he doing here? He's really accomplished a lot as an avenger.

hi just joined because of this topic, i'm a long time avenger fan here are my picks.

in no order:

Monica Rambeau ( i hope bendis puts her on his second avenger team and outta that nextwave comic asap.) and goes back to being called Photon.

Thor - looking forward to seeing what griffen does with him in civil war

Crystal - thought she was a great fit for the team

Vision - a perfect fit as well..not fond of the Young Avenger version.

War Machine - give him more character development, like they did with the crew limited series.

She Hulk - always thought she should be a mainstay.

Hawkeye - of course..

Ronin - that's right, i said HER, i always hoped for a Taskmaster type hero/heroine would be a great addition to the team.

Triathlon - yeah? i like him because he was a source of tension that grew , marvel hasn't fared well in it's last decade of developing minority characters.

I kind of like the Young Avengers version of the Vision. Anyway it is much better than when he was pure white. I liked him best when the Scarlet Witch and the Vision were together.

I really miss the Beast. I like him better as an Avenger than as an X-man. The Lion looking Beast just ticks me off.

The New Avengers line up is OK. The comic has been pretty good so far.

Spider-Man, one of my favorite Marvel characters is not a good fit for the Avengers. In my opinion they threy him in just to get more people to buy the New Avengers. Look another comic book with Spider Man.

Wolverine. See Spider-Man.

Ronin not sure about her.

Spider-Woman. I like the whole double agent thing. This has great potential.

Luke Cage has been pretty fun. After the last issue, I really like him. Not a rock star type PR person (like Cap or Iron Man), more of an common man type of role model.

Sentry. I dunno he seems like a fill in for Thor. Insert powerful member here. The Void arc centering around the Sentry was pretty week. After a build up like that, you would expect him to contribute to the team. First time the Avengers need him and he cops out.

Its the Avengers you gotta have Captain America and Iron Man.
