Action: Speed/Air Force One--tie (I'm thinking of the prototypical, big loud expensive crowd-pleasing, button-pushing actioners here. To me, these are part of the master class in those kinds of movies)

Romance - Love Actually? Shit, I don't know, like EZMOHR said, I really am not into this genre.

Horror - Stigmata. That counts, right? Horror movies generally aren't that good, but I really love this film.

Action - Boondock Saints/Hard Boiled/The Crow. I really feel sorry for the people who mostly only watch Western movies. John Woo's 'Hard Boiled' with Chow Yun-Fat is insane!!! The only other action movie conceivable that can match it is The Boondock Saints. And yeah, I had to throw The Crow in. I'd never sleep at night if I didn't.

Drama - Requiem for a Dream/Crash/Schindler's List. Word.

1-Romance- Casablanca. Superb acting, and the most famous quotes from any film in hollywood history.

2-Horror- Nosferatu (original). Bela Lugosi was the only other vampire who could hold his own with Max Shreck, who was just creepy as Count Orlock.

3-Action- ALIENS. A film that managed to be as good as the original while being a totally different kind of movie. Sigourney Weaver turns in one of the all-time best female action performances.

4-Drama- Tie: Taxi Driver and The Godfather. Self-explanatory, obviously.
