Well, here is how she has personally affected MY life...

Yeah, if it weren't for her, I'd never have known about the Crime Doctor, and never told Daddy, who then went on eBay or something and bought this for me as a surprise! So, thanks Daddy, Gail, and all the Lebian Simulcrums out there!

I met Gail on CoH by total accident(i recognized the character name of her characters as a alias of one of the BoP characters..but had no idea it was Gail. Soon as she introduced herself,i was in fan-geek heaven(Mainly because i was ALREADY a fan of her work). Wasnt for chance meeting her,i would of never met all of you(as well as Howard,who i miss talking to).


I had a bad year,and my health has gone very bad lately(i may have kidney stones again as well,as well as reaccuring gout and possible skin disorder). My friends here,Like SK,Cam,TC,Dark Galaxy,Larry(you have been exceptionally kind! You will ALWAYS be Skuuie to me!),and others have actually made my depression less. For that,no matter what a old grouch i may seem,i am greatful for all of you.

If it wasn't for Gail we wouldn't have this brilliant little forum where people can speak without fear of being banned for calling Ray Tate a monkey fucker.

This is also my primary source of Gail news, Gail stalking info and Gail sightings.

Look! Up in the sky! Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No it's Gail Simone!

It is so cool being able to hang out in a mad place frequented by people as depressed and socially incompetent as I am. Who are also funny, clever and interesting without being stuck up pricks.

Gail's been a good friend and a shining reminder of what I enjoyed about working in comics back then and why I'm returning now.

And, she's helped me get all my Damage Taken and Debt Badges in City of Heroes and City of Villains.

I'd love to hear what he-who-must-not-be-named would answer to this question.

I hope it doesn't involve inane imagery again. :P

As for me, she has gotten me interested in comics again. Makes you feel better to be able to hear from the people who write the stuff you read. Helps you get into the story some more, knowing what they were trying to aim for at the time.

Gail is just great. She lets us pick on her. She picks back, too, and that's fun. She's a hell of a writer. She's sincere and a little loco. She's never a bitch to you. That's gotta count. She sure as hell doesn't act the stereotypical way that you think famous people should act. She's a class dame and a dirty girl. She blew Yogo's ass away, and she'd do it again, because that's just the way she rolls. She's modest. She always lets me win at Mike Tyson's Punch Out - even though I know that she knows that she could totally kick my ass. Gail, I salute you.
