figured screw the spoilers with all the press this ep got. Its not even the death that is the story, its all of it. That ep was...just wow. I can't wait till they turn their bullseye on Scientology completely.

They compared Scientology with a group of brainwashing child molesters, who brainwashed Chef.

Even the short discription of the ep (which I missed :( ) is hilarious.

hmm

Chef returns, but is brainwashed. All his speaking lines is basically old voice clips played over and over again. He seems to be a pediphile now. Its revealed the Super Adventurers club are pediphiles and have brainwashed Chef into being a pediphile. The children rescue him, but Chef dies in the escape. His eulogy was basically the children saying how they should remember the Good Chef before he was brainwashed. In the end, however, its revealed the Super Adventureres Club turned him into Darth Chef

I liked how they said that they weren't mad at Chef/Issac Hayes, but they were mad at Super Adventure Club/Scientology. Do you think that Matt and Trey knew about Hayes' stroke and that he probably wasn't the one to request to quit the show?

They probably know, but by the time they found out the episode was already made.

They'll probably figure out some way to bring Chef back when he recovers from his stroke completly.

Kind of an uneven episode to me, but I did love how they put "This is What the Super Adventure Club Really Believes" up on the screen. Classic.

Well, Darth Chef could toss Barbara Streisand down a pit as she tries to zap Stan with lightning.

Or something.

Or they could just have him come back with no explination at all.

Or maybe crab people. :p

Well, that is how Kenny came back. I loved how they just stitched together voice clips plus Darth Chef almost makes me like Scientology.

What can I say, I loved the ep, and think the "Super-Adventurers Club" doth sucketh.

And those Scientologists can kiss my fourth point of contact as well.

I predict quite a few "Darth Chef" avatars to spring up soon.

Yes, and I agree with them. I'm glad they don't blame Isaac.

Do you think Darth Chef was just a joke for this episode or is he going to become a re-occuring character? And who will the new school chef be? Mr.Durp?

So they're saying it was a stroke, and not his 'leaders' telling him to quit?

It's being said that someone else put out the press release without his knowledge. I don't know, it seems like there would've been a response from the Hayes camp sooner if that were the case. Either way, they've left a major out on Chef's death. He could return anytime.

Best part of the episode? Mrs. Garrison's mourning veil.

To me the episode never really hit the right notes, if left me wanting something more -- well, except for the Darth Chef scenes those were excellent.

I also liked the eulogy basically telling Mr. Hayes they miss him.

I really hope that Darth Chef gets his own episode, he seemed like a cool character at the end of that episode. I almost turned that channel when the lightning hit the bridge, I couldnt stand to see Chef fall down the cliff and get attacked by the animals because Chef was my favorite character next to Cartman.

I liked that, too. It constantly amazes me how pointed the satire on this show can be. When they make fun of something, they usually have a reason for doing so besides just to make fun of it.

I have a feeling that was one of the last minute additions after they found out about the maybe stroke.

Chef was everybody's favorite character. I think that's what makes the whole situation such a damn shame.

But this one was pretty funny.

The Darth Chef episode was a slag at Scientology. For instance, the "Super Adventure Club" is really Scientology. As others have stated, Scientologists don't believe in psychiatry or psychology. Therefore, you can see why the Super Adventure Club took out Chef at the strip bar. They wanted to continue to brainwash him to be a pedophile. Yes, the pedophilia is another strike at Scientology since founder, L. Ron Hubbard was believed to be a pedophile.

I expect more Scientology bashing for the rest of the season.

I like how they used worse editing on the brainwashed clips than on the normal Chefspeak.

They probably know, but by the time they found out the episode was already made.

Those guys can make an episode within a few days - IIRC, they usually send the episode to Comedy Central the day it airs. A couple years ago, they literally animated and recorded an entire episode (the one with the quintuplets) within a day or 2 (because they wanted to add in the Elian Gonzalez stuff at the very last minute).

Buzz Dixon

The quintuplets episode was already written and shot when the Elian Gonzalez situation occured. In something like 72 hours they went back and added some new scenes while removing others and completely changed the focus of the story. Not exactly a whole new episode, but a truly remarkable turnaround.

I believe it takes them 6-8 days to make a complete episode. All the work is done in-house.

Temporarily anozinizing our episode will NOT stop us from keeping Thetans forever trapped in your pitiful man-bodies. Curses and drat! You have obstructed us for now, but your feeble bid to save humanity will fail! Hail Xenu!!!" signed "Trey Parker and Matt Stone, servants of the dark lord Xenu."
