Weeds rules but this business of having such short seasons is ridiculous!

I just downloaded the first episode of it off iTUNES. I'm gonna watch it tonight.

As far as I was aware, they never aired the last few episodes and the show itself was cancelled.

There were 10 first season episodes. The second season comes back on this summer.

Yeah, they aired 10, but made 13 of them, as far as I'm aware. It's hard to find info on this show though, and the showtime website is only accessible from the USA (I'm in Canada). Wtf?

Really? Because episode ten really felt like a season finale to me. I am pretty sure that it's coming back around July, which would make sense since I've heard that its Showtime's most successful show ever. But yeah, that the Showtime website is US only has been bugging me ever since I tried to find some info on the late, great Dead Like Me.

yeah, i thought it ended abruptly, though upon hearing the news that the 10th epi was the finale, i sort of understood.
i know it's coming back though.

Any other fans of this show? I just got season 1 on DVD, and have to say, with Arrested Development off the air I feel pretty confident saying its the best comedy on TV (followed, in no particular order, by South Park, Scrubs, the Office and Entourage). Absolutely hysterical. Kevin Nealon's character Doug and her brother-in-law are the best characters.
"Man, how did you get so smart at what, sixteen? It took me years to learn slightly defective chicks are the way to go. I once went out with this girl with a baby arm, insane in the sack, plus when she grabbed my dick with her little hand it looked gigantic."

I don't have PayTV, but I got to go to the Paley Festivel, which screened the Pilot & Season One finale @ the Director's Guild a few months ago, and LOVED it! They said they were trying to get different groups to cover the theme for season 2, and I immediately called my brother, and told him his band had to try and be one of them. So far, that hasn't worked, but maybe season 3!
