View Full Version : Multiple Man Appearances

I decided to try and collect every appearance of Jamie Madrox, the Multiple Man, but I can't find a definitive list of every appearance. I guess this is what I should expect from a 2nd tier character (who has a potential to be 1st tier).
Anyway, the most extensive list I could find was on Uncanny X-men.net: Spotlight on Madrox (http://www.uncannyxmen.net/db/spotlight/showquestion.asp?faq=10&fldAuto=92&page=5)
There are appearances missing from this list, such as his recent applearance in the HoM Day After issue, or the Strong Guy One Shot.
Does anyone have an extensive list, or should I write one here (to probably be reposted on Wikipedia)?

In situations like this, your best bet is www.marvelchronologyproject.com . Their records aren't completely up-to-date, but they're still a pretty reliable resource. For Madrox, here's their complete list; I'll try to provide a key in the next post.

M/TU = Marvel Team-Up
COC = Contest of Champions
NM = The New Mutants
FA = Fallen Angels
XF = X-Factor
H2 = The Incredible Hulk
AF = Alpha Flight
IW = Infinity War
MK3 = Moon Knight vol. 3

Of course, there are a few appearances after their list ends, most notably the Madrox mini from last year and all issues of X-Factor from this year. Good luck with your hunt... I'm on the same quest myself, though it's slooow going.

He's also in the Spiderman/X-Factor: Shadowgames mini-series, which I would say is for completists only. Despite seeming like a brilliant idea at the time and being written by Kurt Busiek, it was really poor.

That's funny, I was just about to add these three issues to the list as well. I love spidey, love x-factor, love Busiek, yet somehow this series fell short of what it should have been. Still, that Hardtime character was pretty damn cool.

You mean it could have been worse?!
Hard to imagine...

I vaguely remember the first issue of that, and never looked up the rest of the series. Oddly enough, the one thing I remember about it was that it, if I remember right, came out around the same time as this Spider-Man/Beast team-up, which issues crossed over with the syndicated Spider-Man comic strip!
