What happened to Dr.Fate and Madam Xanadu after the Spectre made mincedmeat of them in Days of Vengeance?
I know Phantom Stranger came back to his form after Specty turned him into a rat. But what about the two?
And does any one know where's Billy Batson now after he was throwndown by Specty in Gotham just as the ROE exploded?
Alex said that Magic fuels his perfect earth machine.. maybe these heroes would be significant in stopping it in the last issues of IC.

Check out the Day of Vengeance: Infinite Crisis Special, all your questions will be answered there. And most of them are pretty major spoilers....Do you really wanna know?

*MAJOR SPOILERS*
Doctor Fate is killed by the Spectre, Madame Xanadu has been permanently blinded and is training an apprentice to read the cards for her and the Shadowpact, with the help of many other heroes, rebuild the Rock of Eternity, but in order for it to stay together, Captain Marvel must replace the wizard, Shazam. He's supposedly stuck there for good.

Eventually there's going to be a new dr. fate. Also, Dr. Fate died on purpose, wasn't like spectre just owned him.

I love that not only did Dr Fate pull an Obi Wan on the Spectre, but that his spirit stuck around long enough to metaphorically give him the finger too :p

Dr fate will be back for sure. At least thats what I think and hope. So with Hal Jordan being back as the GL who is the Spectre now? Sorry for asking a lot I have just not been up that much on Dc at the moment.

During the whole green lantern reborn , the spectre was without a host but after the DOV special , his new host is a former gotham cop who was recently killed in gotham central named Crispus Allen.

Basically Dr. Fate allowed the Spectre to kill him. Being one of the principal lords/gods of magic in the DCU, Fate pushed the Spectre to the point where higher powers had to intervene and God called the Spectre elsewhere to bind him to another host.
Fate mentioned that they were building a permanent host for the Spectre but he went nuts before they could finish.

The whole sence with the Spectre crying as he is forced into another human host was cool as all get out. :D

Didn't it say the host they were building for Spectre was a female?
I wonder if that person will resurface as Spectrette?

Yeah by the time it came down to it Dr. Fate/Nabu was the last Lord of Order left, and he knew letting the Spectre destroy him would finally make God/the Pressence take notice and step in to deal with the Spectre, so he let himself be destroyed. At the end of the DoV Special Blue Devil took Fates helmet and tossed it into the sky. They all decided to leave it up to fate as to where it would land and who would find it, and therefore become the new Doctor down the road.
His death ended the 9th age of magic and now the magic side of the DCU is alot wilder and uncontrolable. The new Shadowpact mini series will probaly deal more with the magic side of the DCU.

Well it must be noted that The Spectre was going to kill Nabu/Fate anyway. Nabu just went to him for 1 last chance at trying to fix things so he wouldn't die and try to talk some sense into The Spectre, which of course didn't happen and The Spectre killed him anyway. Kinda cool about Spectre being forced into a host, The Presence didn't even have to show himself and he forced the Spectre into a new host, woo now thats power! :D

Ok. So that would explain why Spectre appeared very helpless ( whining even, like SBPrime) while being forced into his new host... :D

Yup. Spectre is nothing compared to his boss. He got majorly bitch-slapped back into a host. :)
