The title is somewhat Whedonesque :)

If we say Simone = Whedon enough times who knows what will happen!

Finally a comic for the older generation though.

I'll be pulling it and digging it...but no plans to bury it.

Try this, Jeff.

Leave the fire select on three round burst after you use the 40mm grenade launcher.

Oddly enough, I was an illustrator for one of the US Army Special Ops tech manuals for that grenade launcher.

As for TRANQUILITY, I can't wait. Damn this is gonna be fun. I'm brimming with ideas for bits that'd fit in that setting. Hey Gail remember that retired-hero-and-villain volunteer fire department thing I mentioned in email a few months back? *big grin* Wavelength!

TRANQUILITY is gonna be da bomb. I love the small-town setting, esp. as I live in rural Oklahoma. Yesterday was a great advantages-of-a-small-town day for me, working the who-knows-who, swap-you-one-of-these-for-that, friend-of-a-friend yeah-he's-good-folk network, so this news REALLY hit me the right way. Thanks.

BIG congratulations Gail, and the Wildstorm folks sound like they have been just terrific.

It's true, and I've used the underground tunnels in Hong Kong and went all over in the taxis (where the drivers speak NO English) in Beijing with no problem. But subways...eek!

Oh Jesus Christ Gail... You tell them what bread you want and then you select the type of meat and finally if you want tomatoes or pickeles ect. Then they put it all together for you and you can even pick up some chips and you get a soda.

Ways to torture Gail....

1. Put her in the subway where she has to explain to every person she meets exactly what a "Wallet in the front pocket" means before they give her directions!

Gail I trust in you and will support your work but I’m worried that a book about senior citizens in a retirement home is going to flop in the marketplace. Then again I said that a book about Catman was going to bomb so what the hell do I know? Anyway best of luck with this project.

Not with the Wildstorm kids. We love it. Unique and out there ideas are our bread and butter, and I will certainly be purchasing this book. It's at once unique and upbeat (something which I think is significantly harder to achieve than being unique and dark). I believe that this doth bode positively for Gen13 as well, which has usually told lighthearted and original stories.
