Hey Ron, I was just thinking the other day...how come you never had Kyle and Dick interact at all during your run? Was it something you were meaning to do, but never got around to doing? Was it something you weren't given permission to work with? Or was it just something you weren't interested in? I think Kyle and Dick would have a lot in common - both Titans, Kyle dated one of Dick's best friends, they could have a nice discussion about Batman. I think it'd be interesting (heck, I think it could STILL be interesting, with Kyle as Ion).
Thanks,
Brian

Chuck Dixon and I had a Nightwing/GL 2-issue prestige series in the works. We had the story worked out, some designs for new characters by Cully Hamner (who was going to draw the issues). We never got around to it. The story would've played up the similarities the characters shared as "next gen" heroes, as well as the differences -- Dick being trained for this a good part of his life, and Kyle just lucking in to it.

Ha!
That definitely answers that!!
Thanks, Ron.
Do you recall when this would have appeared in the books, time-wise? Before or after Faster Friends?
Also, how cool is it to see Faster Friends on Lost? :D

That would have been very cool to read. I love DC's twenty-something characters... very cool, relatable, and down to earth. Dick and Kyle are two of my all-time favorites. I would have picked that up for sure.
