The first show to every leave feeling inbetween, it wasn't as mysterious an ending as Big O, nor the traditional storytelling ending. The main thing I liked about it was that it left the good guys with hope and nearly in reach of their goals, it's plausible Al could find Ed. I was also gald Wraith didn't end up dying, I think he just needed guidance and fell on the wrong side. Thought I do have some questions, what could have happend to Dante and Lust and did Envy reach the other side or get stuck in the gate?

Conqueror of Shambala wraps up everything and explains the final fate of Dante, Ed, and Al. Although I think that one or two of the homonculi survive and just wander off.

Fromm what I heard.

Gluttony goes crazy, from trying to kill Dante, and Wrath/GLuttony kill eahc other.

Then again, the only Homculcli who mad eme sad dying was Greed (Who wanted to hlep his friends.) The others, I do not give a damn about.

Though yeah, would like to see that bitch get her's though.

And Hohemin is a freakken Nazi. (Then again, Central sort of reflects on them, so makes sense.)

But yeah, I would like to see some closeure though. But yeah, it sure surprised me too.

Wrath and Gluttony don't kill each other. Al uses them as sacrifices to open the door to the physical gate.

No that was brutal the way Wrath got taken out.

He was just a messed up kid and even he didn't deserve what happened to him.

And he was on the #2 hate list for me right after Envy and Dante for 3rd.

Eh? From what I understand it doesn't say anything about Dante one way or the other...

I don't get how Hoenheim meets Ed in the blitz of London during WWII and now he's in German with Ed in 1921 before WWII. That's one thing that bugged me. There's time travel here! That always messed things up.

I personaly consider that a Alternative Earth.

Because the main government in FMA Earth, seem skind of facist to me.

Um, it was WWI when he met Ed in London (hence the zeppelins)...

Ah, thank you. For some reason I forgot the air raids happened during WWI and not just WWII.

It's not the Blitz of London, it's during WWI.

The Movie (Conqueror's of Shambhala) can be pinpointed pretty exactly in time (1923, the Beerhall Putsch is a kind of background)

Also, considering Dante doesnt show up in the movie, most people assume Gluttony ate and killed her.

Good riddance I say.

I guess the movie is being released at the same time as the final DVD release, in October. And there may be a very limited theatrical release for it too. (Source: Answerman at Anime News Network)

Yeah but there's no way to know for sure, Gluttony certainly wasn't talking. In any case I would have at least liked to have seen more of a resolution with her, she is my favorite FMA villain after all (unpopular opinion I know)...

Don't know about anyone else here. But I thought the movie was somewhat boring at certain parts. I also didn't see how it resolved things completely.

There's something I don't get. Does Hawkeye betray Mustang in ep. 50?

I'm going to say no, although I'm not sure exactly what she was trying to do...

I will be on the look out for the Fullmetal movie. Its a rare treat for me when writers make a feature film to give the series a extra-ordinary climatic finale.

I'm not really sure myself but I'm guessing it was part of the plan. It got Bradley to face Mustang alone, which was the plan, plus it cleared her and innocents out of the warpath, which he also wanted. Mustang would also be the type to tell her to do that in order to protect herself in case things went wrong, by showing loyalty to the State she can deny her part in the treason.
