Anybody remember this series?

A familly, the Butlers, exploring an uncharted river canyon in amazonia, are caught in a whirlpool and propeled in a world where they befriend a prehistoric family, and of course Dinosaurs are everywhere in this world, a world that time forgot.

Of course I did, as I did most cartoons of the 1970s. It shows up once in a while on Boomerang for a few months and then is off air again. When massive boredom strikes, I wonder if they were ever rescued? If that happened, what would become of the people and dinosaurs who live there?
