So far at the Wizard World L.A. X-Men panel, they are showing the same artwork they showed at the N.Y. convention  . What a gyp.

So what? It's not a gyp, they never promised new art for the occassion. :p
The info was at least new, and some fun teases were dropped for what's coming. :)

New art is a must have teaser in order to have the proper emotional impact and excitment stirring juices at a convention promo panel. And the only new news we heard was that Claremont is keeping around Blink, Sabretooth, and Morph, for his Exiles run.

No it's not, because none of the stuff that was hyped at the last con has come to pass yet. So it's still hyping and gearing up for the same stuff that they were doing at the last con. Why provide new art, for the exact same thing. Besides, they said new art of the 'Shrapnel' and 'Ogre' Sentinels were shown, the just don't have images for Newsarama. Besides, the people that attended this con, weren't the same people attending the last one. So it's new to them, unless they looked at it on the net. And no, there was other new news. :p

Really? I thought one of the big three dying/leaving was hyped for World Tour--not that I wanted one of them to die.
I was hoping that AoA Sabes was at least going to get the boot.
Interesting Longshot wasn't mentioned--NEX member perhaps? Prepare for the eternal screams of Novaya's broken heart. :(

One of the big 3 has already died during World Tour. R.I.P. Mimic.

So far, every time he has quoted me he has included a :p at the end of his post. So he is joking on every single post? If he is no big deal, but sticking out your tongue is a little kid thing, not a joking kind of thing.

It looks like Longshot wont make to CC team.

Will the obvious crossover between Exiles/NEX happen in Exiles or New Excalibur? I mean, we have Psylocke as a guest in NEX and hints of a closure in the Dazz/Longshot situation. Or am I assuming a lot here??

Not at all. I'd say it's a dead cert.
I was suggesting that an NEX/eXiles crossover had to be on the cards, before Claremont was announced on eXiles. It's even more likely now.
Dazzler/Longshot
Nocturne being a former member.
The eXiles having just sold TV rights to the Multiverse to Mojo.
Mojo still loking to get his hands on Juggernaut and Nocturne, who escaped him, and who would certainly be interested in Dazzler and Psylocke for that matter.
Inevitable.

Speaking of Wizard World L.A. it was said "No mutants who were de-powered are going to gain thier powers back."
Well undeniably this will prove false. I mean, it's not going to be forever where characters like Polaris and Magneto are not going to have their powers. Hell, look at Peitro. And obviously Preview and Wind Dancer are getting their powers back as we all know

How in the heck is Psylocke goig to mesh well with these people. Honestly. It's funny how every writer has their character where they can just tell the editors, "well you know what, I'm going to take this character in every book I write." I mean, yeah CC is undeniably "The Psylocke Writer" but geez, spread the wealth man....

Hi-Fi!! Your words...they hurt me!!! :o
Well, not really as I'm not really attatched to this cast, but I'd rather see Morph return home and Blink serve some purpose elsewhere.
Anywaaaay, could it be that we're swapping Longshot and Psylocke? Personally, its a trade I'd rather not see but that's what it appears to me at the moment.
If its meant to lead to Longshot/Dazzler as members of NEX, I may never go back to the title (as I plan to with issue 8). :(

Personally I don't think Longshot and Dazzler would be a totally bad thing for the book, although I'd like to see a more British or even European mix to the group. So far it's just Cap and Pete. But yes, I think this could well happen.

Knowing CC, he'll probably have Vargas come in, kill them both (with his nifty sword!) as Sabretooth is massaging Betsy's feet (ala Tunderbird III) then bring them back two issues later with no freakin' explanation...

It'd certainly repel me away from the book, but I can see why others would be happy for it. Personally, I'd prefer Betsy to remain in 616 and for Longshot to remain in a book like Exiles.

Ugh, I'm dreading this so much. I don't, under any circumstances, want to see these two in the same book ever again. Let them have their little reunion, and then let's move on. I'm tired of Dazzler and Longshot being tied to eachother.

Yes, and it's the last time I will eat breakfast at your house. And I did not see it for *free* on the internet. I pay Earthlink $21.95 a month for internet service.

Actually, the theme of Marvel at WWLA seems to be "we don't just publish X-Men!"
What are the biggest stories? Halo OGN, Jack Kirby (kind of) at Marvel, Campbell on a Spider-Man book, new books for Punisher and Ant-Man, and Campbell and Wells are exclusive. Most of the X news was fairly incidental.

Most disappointing news I've heard. It's the stuff I've heard and seen already on the Internet (except for the Civil War starring Cyclops, Beast, Angel and Iceman).
Honestly, the X-Men needs a very new and good direction. The problem is they'll be retconned back in a few years.
