Hey guys I'm new here .. Im 25 and havent touched a comic since I was like 13 or so until the other day , when I bought numerous boxes of comics that where being thrown out by a storage shed..Yeah bad news for some body ( Im sorry . good news for me) But anyways this isnt just your average kid collection there are nothing but serious comics in these boxes . Autograph comics and numerous first issues to first apperences..But My question for u guys is ::
I have 1977 starwars 1-3 . Them all being the 35 cent versions....
Now I was told by a local shop that the 30 cent version with the bar code is the rare ones not the ones I have ..So I tried to do some research , first was WIZARD.. years ago when I was little this is what me and all my friends went by . It says that 35 cent var. are worth up to $680 .. So where do I fall.. Also I checked out ebay .. Majority of them on there where all 30 cent versions with bar codes......?
Also the #3 comic of this collection on the cover the the entire layout is way off center and is cut off at the bottom because of this .. Does that make this a error comic?

Please and thank you for any helpful insight on this..

Ebay is what is used by most price guides to determing interest and the selling cost of comics. In the end, that is the only place you will find the actual selling price of a book.
