It's Back! In the last Survivor, the GLA/X were crowned the first ever MTBS Champions. So now the time is right for them to defend their crown. Taking the advice from ED, I've decided to keep the nomination and subsequent rounds in separate threads. So let's get started with the team nominations.

We're expanding the Showdown. I've decided to keep the previous 19 teams selected from the last Showdown. As for the GLA/X, they will automatically gain a spot in the Final Round. First, here are the first 19 teams selected:

1. Defenders
2. Avengers
3. X-Men
4. Runaways
5. Serpent Society
6. Kree Starforce
7. New Mutants
8. The Crew
9. Fantastic Four
10. Sinister Six
11. Thunderbolts
12. Heroes For Hire
13. New Invaders
14. U-Foes
15. Inhumans
16. Champions
17. Starjammers
18. Fin Fang Four
19. Marvel Knights

I've taken out the rule that you have to post the roster of the team. So here are the rules for nomination:

1. It must be a real team past or present.
2. Off-shoot teams are allowed (i.e. Avengers West Coast, X-Men Gold, etc.)
3. Everyone is limited to 1 nomination per post.
4. You can nominate again if there has been at least 3 posts after yours or if no one has posted for at least an hour.

I'm hoping for a total of 32 teams in this game. Once 13 teams have been nominated, this thread will be closed and I will open a new thread for the actual game.

sorry, I don't know how that happened.
It's ok. Anyway, 4 Divisions w/ 8 Teams will be the format. This thread will be closed now. I'll get to work on the Divisions. My next post will start the Showdown.
