Me too. She was hands-down my favorite X-Man back in the day. Her character assasination was so gradual I didn't even really notice until one day she was dull as a box of paperclips.

Dazzler's long blonde hair---or even longer pink hair--just something to improve what she's got right now.

Nocturne's corn rows or just regular flowing beautiful dark blue hair. Not the skunk bangs.

Storm's strange 90's hairdo with short layered hair and two long strands at both sides. I might be alone in liking that do though.

Iceman's spikey hair!

Emma's white hair. She's drawn beautifully by Cassaday and her various guest appearances, but it feels more like Emma when she her hair is colored more more white-ish.

Well, to be fair, the editors also probably knew it was best not to have Alan Davis trying to draw "punk." He was square 15 years ago. Way talented, but that guy's got zero fashion sense.

Yeah, she needs something punk, futuristic, or somehow counter-culture. The bob isn't working. Maybe the bob would work if artists played it up a bit more as being intentionally retro, where it's all brushed forward to frame her face, very 60s. (I can't find a good picture to illustrate this.) But now, it's just blah.

Frankly they were quite right about that one . Hardly a good idea .

It makes sense. Her character seemed to be headed back to the "hardcore"/punk version.

One of my favorite lines from a fanfic recently was from Madripoor Rose's "First Time, the Second Time Around", a fluff piece set during and after The Kiss from AXM #13. Oh, finally...she opened her mouth to the kiss, one hand creeping around the back of his neck to comb through the short-but-shaggy hair there, and that was one thing about Ord, he might have been a paranoid kidnapping, genocidal idiot alien, but at least he'd forced Piotr to get rid of that ponytail.

There are some really cool variations of the mohawk that I'd like to see rocked out. Naima from America's Next Top Model had a cool do. Everything short hair seems to be used in comics, its so plain--i.e. NEX Dazzler. Colossus, Iceman, or Havok having a fullblown mohawk I think would be awesome. :D
