What are your favorite Emma Frost covers?

the first one is my all time favourite cover :D. i love the second one as well.

The first one listed is my favorite, and the X-Treme one following that is awesome, as well.

I hated all of her Greg Land covers.

But the cover of XXM 23 is a close second...

I found some disco promotion posters on my front door today. Itīs for some tasteless crap party but i wonder where theyīve got there awesome Emma art the poster is showing from. Itīs similar to some ppls avatar, the one with the lip licking.
I ll do a picture if the glass reflections are not to strong

I didnt know that so many people loved that cover from van sciver! he draws one of the best emma frost :D

it sucks how these people take this image to use it as a flyer. i'm sure they don't even know where it is from. "disco fantasy"... :rolleyes:

I'm sorry I can't post the actual cover image, but one of my favorites is definately the image of Emma and Scott looking back at the audience. Its issue 156 of New X-Men. She looks extremely sexy and seductive.

You know I always felt there was a difference between looking sexy and seductive verse anything else. I'm kinda assuming that, that's what the artist and Marvel in general has and was trying to go for with Emma in terms of covers or simpliy character design. Even the present version. Yet I don't think they've done it.

Maybe it's just me but she always seems to come off as if she is some high priced escort/hooker. You know the type that you can kinda tell right away even though they are trying to look all classy. She just has that aura about her. Due to her hard look at times it screams slut at times as well. The whole evil like looks don't help the situation at all either. I know they say don't judge a book by their cover but you seriously can't help it in this case I feel. Everytime I look at Emma it's like being slap across the face with the book and these things just get screamed out with to much ease. I know sex is suppose to sell but they've all but shown her naked now, in an uncensored way. Did they really think this was a good idea or have they simply gone overboard with the characters and just can't find any way back in terms of her apperance?

these are great! Add X-men 116 to the list and these are great emma covers.

i might be alone in the crowd, but i have to say, the van sciver covers (and his style in general) never did anything for me. i plain out don't like his art.
