The current invasion in Wildcats: Nemesis is a wholly different invasion than the one in Majestic, right? Same players, but different games?
(This, by the by, is not a continuity complaint. I'm just trying to keep score.)

It's a valid question. The short answer is that it's not the same invasion. Granted, there are certain thematic simularities - Brotherhood of the Blade and Shapers Guild both see themselves as the cure for Kheran society's deficiencies.
It has been hinted that Wildcats: Nemesis takes place after Majestic. We know that Majestic took place before the end of Authority: Revolution while Nemesis takes place some time after it. Also, in Nemesis, Jack Marlowe appears to be dead (given the nature of his powers, one can never be sure), while in Majestic, he's still alive.
Here is the approximate timeline of events as they seem to stand right now*.
2003 - Majestic winds up stuck DCU
2004 - Authority takes over United States. They give up their rule a few months later
2005 - Majestic comes back to WSU from DCU and an accidental time travel one year in the future.
- Earth is drawn into a Kheran Civil War between Pantheon and Shapers Guild
2006 - Bladesmen use Kara to trigger post-human abilities in a section of US population.
*All dates subject to change following the upcoming relaunch.

It has been hinted that Wildcats: Nemesis takes place after Majestic. That's interesting! If that's true, then Zealot and Majestros apparently still haven't told Savant who her real mother is. Hmm... That would explain, though, why she mentioned to Grifter that it felt like people weren't telling her the full story.
Hmm...
I guess that means Majestros survives too. :)

There are a lot of things mentioned in Nemesis so far that are still a mystery to the characters in Majestic (though some of those mysteries and suprises shouldn't be... Zealot KNOWS that the Kherubim were not the original inhabitants of Khera... she found this out during Alan Moore's Homecoming story... when she was actually THERE)...
