I know that most of us here all have a favorite series, and that we'll tell others that it's just such a good series that they should read the whole damn thing. But every occasionally, there are a few outstanding single issues in a run that make you want to read that single over and over again. This thread is dedicated to those issues. Which ones are your favorites and why?
Spoilers(but then again they have to be expected in a thread like this)
1.Gen13#44: Everything about this one was great, and seeing Caitlin toss Majestic around while explaining the proper pronunciation of Richard Wagner was priceless.
2.Wildcats 3.11: This story of an accountant reaching the brink of self destruction has to be one of the most unique and original stories in comics EVER.
3.Planetary#3(at least I think it's #3. I only have the TPB.): This would be the issue where they discover the hard drive containing the soul of the deceased cop. Of all the Planetary stories, I think this one is my favorite. Not only is a hard drive for souls just a brilliant concept, but it also explores how different your outlook on human justice systems would be if you knew there was no life after death.
4.Gen13#69(he he):Another gem by Adam Warren. It's one of the few Gen13 books that manages to make Grunge useful. When he melds with The Authority's Carrier he becomes hyper intelligent and brings Roxy(who manages to use her powers to make a baby universe) along for the ride.
5.Stormwatch Team Achilles #20: Because they managed to make The Midnighter walk out of China.
