I can't beleive that they have a dissasembled arc for new avengers. Check out the June solicits for marvel.
On the CBR Home page.
It's part of the civil war thing . Government wants registered super hero database. Like the T.V. series of the nineties.

Yeah. There's a whole forum for it like one click up on the forum bar.

I meant the fact that they used the term Dissasembled for a avengers story again. People joked about a dissasembled 2, and now it's actaully happening.

It's "Disassembled" in name only. Part of the whole Civil War thing is turning heroes against eachother. Makes sense that it would effect the New Avengers.

When did anyone ever joke about that? You're lying. That makes you a liar. Your might want to extinguish your pants.

Who wants to bet that Bendis had to change his underwear after learning he'd finally be working with his hero Chaykin?

I think it's just wordplay and it won't be anything similar to Disassembled 1...

While I'm looking forward to the Civil War event I'm not looking forward to what its going to do to the New Avengers. Exactly at what point do we stop calling them "New Avengers" and simply call them "The Avengers"?
Anyway, the way things are going I think half the current core team is going to be gone unless friendships can be mended after the whole event. Spider-man still has his comic, as does Captain America, and Spider-woman is getting her. Chances are these will be the ones that leave the team with Iron Man, Luke Cage staying and possibly Sentry.
If that is the case who do you think might or could fill up the core team once the other three (if they do) leave? New members, past older Avengers, etc?

You know this is exaclty what classic Avengers fans said about the first disassembled. Hmmm interesting.

Yeah, this "dissassembled" will be a metaphorical thing...I bet loyalties will be questioned, friendships will be challenged and all that, and it will be interesting to see if a team that is still in its infancy stages can survive this intact.
Hopefully it will, and who knows, maybe this will make the team a more cohesive unit...
I hope nobody leaves, and the "crisis" only strengthens the team's core.

How soon do we stop calling them new Avengers?- probably around issue #600. I wasn't initially interested in reading a five part tale focusing on individual heroes, but seeing how Cap is forming a new team at the start, and seeing as how the team is going to change at the end of this, i'm kind of curious to see who he picks, and which ones will still be around when this is over.

You know, i really don't think Iron man is going to be around at the end of this. The new Avengers might have to move out of Stark tower, returning Spidey to his street level roots.

That's also a possiblity. If Captain keeps the Avengers under his leadership and Iron Man is out and Spidy does switch sides from Iron's to Cap's and he does leave it might be for a different reason. He might be feed up with trusting other people only to have it come back and bite him in the ass. It could give him a whole new loner but more jaded feel. That taken with all his other personal and Spidy problems could make him a bit darker person. Then again maybe not, just a feeling.
Just a little annoyed that I get the feeling that Spidy is going to be crapped on again in the end. Seriously the guy just doesn't get a break. For once I'd like to see him on the positive side of a situation without any regrests. It seemed like that when he joined the New Avengers but now we have this Civil War event which seems like it's business as usual with the webcrawler having another low point in his life, on top of dying recently.

In the soliciat for issue 21 it talks about Cap having to form a new team.. Personally I hope that Cap ends up leading a different team of avengers when this is over.

That's what's supposed to happen. A more 'Classic' Avengers book, and the 'New' Avengers book will exist side by side. There will be a preview of it in the Free Comic Book Day comic book from Marvel. :)

Is this a piece of real news, or are we talking wishful thinking here?
Cuz I wouldn't say "great news" just yet, until there's confirmation from Marvel.
(Even though I would love to be able to buy both New Avengers and a more "traditional" book)
However, just like NA has two classic members in the spotlight, I would love a classic book to consist mostly of the old guard with a couple of never-before-been-Avengers surprises.

It's hard to say 100% that the team Cap puts together to fight on his side of Civil War will become the other fully fledged team of Avengers. They may just band together against the registered heroes but it could definitely be the more long term team as well.
I'm really wondering how this outlaw team will work and stay hidden, probably similarly to the X-Men I suppose with their own secret underground base and all.

Didn't realize that. Sound be interesting. Two Avenger teems. Makes me wonder who will be on which or if the two will end up being rivials or something.
Or if this will end up being like the Avengers and West Coast Avengers. Which begs the question, what actual was that setup like anyway? Were they seperate teams just using the same name or just sister/brother teams that worked together and answered to the same leadership (similar to the cartoon Teen Titans where they had the normal Teen Titans lead by Robin and the Teen Titans East team lead by Bumblebee)?
If Cap does make his own team. Is there anyone with enough money to help bank roll it the way Tony could? Or at least supply them with a base of operations, etc? Justice League has Batman who pretty much banks their operation like the Watch Tower, their ships, etc. Tony seemed to be the one for the Avengers but wonder if there is another person with that level of money in the Marvel Universe (other then Prof X with the Mansion and Reed Richards who are busy with their own teams and operations) that can spare that kind of money.

Wasp has money, Wonder Man has money, the Black Knight owns a castle in England, Thor obvious would have gold, and the list goes on.
This was one of the fundemental problems with why the team broke up, cause money should not have been a reason.

Be careful what you wish for, BK.
Wouldn't it be the ultimate joke if the Avengers books split into "New" and "Classic," and Bendis took the classic book? He'd do it too, just to put it in the fans' faces.
I'm not going to buy one issue of the civil war garbage. It's irrelevant. If, at some point in the future, a writer takes over Captain America and the Avengers and does them justice, I'll consided picking the book up again, but not until then.

It's too bad Iron Man's team can't bring back the Force Works concept. Though I think the series itself was pretty so-so, I really liked the concept and characters behind it and WANTED to like it.

Now, here's a scenario that I could really get into. Spider Man and the Sentry follow Cap over in NA Classic written by Jenkins or whomever.
Black Panther and Storm become reluctant allies of Iron Man creating a "couple within the team" dynamic similar to the Vision/Wanda situation of old. Wolverine's experience and wisdom is delved into a little bit more, Luke Cage and Spider Woman round things out. Bendis actually, for once, rises to the occasion and cranks out a tense, thrilling, meaningful spectacular for the 21st century.
And no, the white/black/mutant/whatever ratio is completely irrelevant to me.

Meanwhile, in New Avengers #whatever, Tony's got an empty skyscraper and about three quinjets, right?
Too broke to fund the team, yeah, right.

I thought that the Marvel offering on FCD was an X-Men/Runnaways x-over?
Where's this Classic Avengers thing coming from?

Yeah, funny how that rationale kinda..."went away."
And BTW, Tony's already lost (i.e. destroyed) about 3 of those quinjets he was too poor to supply any more.

I'm vaguely amused by the fact that Marvel has the word "Disassembled" twice in the solicits and it's typoed as "Dissasembled" both times...
I believe Joe Q's words on the other Avengers team, when asked if "old school" Avengers fans would be getting a more classic team, was something along the lines of "it might not make them happy" - so keep that in mind.
