if Magneto (even with powers) has a change of heart & turns away from the path of mutant supremacy, who will step up to fill the vaccuum? who would you like to see occupy that role? and, if you feel like it, who would their first recruits be now that Pyro is deceased and the Blob has gone on the Atkins eXtreme diet?

Quicksilver?

Exodus?

Vulcan?

Mystique?

Toad?

?

Dark Beast.

Considering other than Sinister he's a master of mutant genetics and has created mutated monsters, he could play the same roll Quicksilver is right now. Re-powering depowered mutants, and while he's at it... brainwashing them into willing soldiers in his new Brotherhood of Mutants. :)

Mystique. Whenever I think of leadership of the Brotherhood, I either think of Magneto or Mystique. And Magneto has his Acolytes, so Mystique should have her Brotherhood. Avalanche and Mastermind would probably be her first recruits, followed by other characters like Frenzy or Toad.

Quicksilver. I would love to see him gather a new Brotherhood together.

I prefer Quicksilver as a hero so I would have to go with Mystique.

Gambit. He has just been turned into a horseman, and He will probably go through some mental ramifacations. He knows the X-Men inside out. The Brotherhood could give him recognition he wants. And also if you want to reach over to The End series he is "Sinister" so the dark side could come out. Then have Belladonna show up to replace his love for Rouge and he has nothing that ties him to the X-Men.

i was thinking about that and then i remembered that Pietro is basically not mutant or human anymore. he's the first of a brand new species. so it would have to be the 'Brotherhood of Evil Muterrigens.' :D

'Brotherhood of Evil Muterrigens.' :D

It has a nice melodic ring to it! :D

Although Magneto founded the original Brotherhood of Evil Mutants with the Scarlet Witch, Quicksilver, Mastermind, & Blob, I always think of Mystique's Brotherhood of Evil Mutants/Freedom Force with Rogue, Destiny, Blob, Avalanche, Pyro, Spiral, Super Sabre, Stonewall, Crimson Commando, & Spider-Woman II.

I don't think Quicksilver, Exodus and Toad are leadership material. Mystique has always been a good leader. Kid Vulcan is still mostly an unknown, so it could work.

I always considered Mystique the one and only real leader of the BoEM. Unfortunately Destiny, Pyro, Stonewall, Super Sabre are all dead and Blob is de-powered. She should make a re-start with Avanlance, Crimson Commando and Spiral, also Mystique must convince Spiderwoman II to come back into action with the team.

At this moment Mystique is at Xaviers, so she can work on collecting new members by influencing mutant at the school and at the 198 camp.

She should collect good replacements for former others: Seduce Blindfold to give in to her darker half so she can take the place of Destiny, Fever Pitch can take the place of Pyro, seduce Onyxx to do the same as Blindfold, so he can take Stonewall his place, Northstar has met his darker side allready, he can fill the spot Super Sabre left and Blob should be replaced by Mammomax.

Would that be a great new BoEM team?

Wasn't Exodus the leader last time we saw the BoEM?

Yes, and hopefully that is the last time we see them. That specific grouping of them, anyway.

That wasn't the real Exodus, far too icompatant, and willing to be pushed around by a talking tree. It was obviously 'Gay Red Cloak Man', a lameo version from an Austen reality. ;)

i'm not a fan of Onyxx but i like the rest of your Brotherhood.

Mystique
Feverpitch
Mammomax
Northstar (provided his reprogramming would even allow for this)
Blindfold
and maybe a few others...

i definately think she would have invited Avalanche, though.

Isn't Mystique a X-Man now? I like her that way!!

That group shouldn't have even been given the name Brotherhood of Evil Mutants as they bore no resemblence in any way shape or form to past incarnations.
Mystique is definitely a great candidate but apparently she's busy for the next few months.
Quicksilver I'd like to see but not for awhile. He has alot of issues that need addressed.
Magneto I feel, is above this kind of thing nowadays.
Exodus is Magneto's lapdog and nothing more.
