Well we all die at one point or another, so when you die do you want to be buried or cremated? Or something else perhaps?

I'll be dead, what do I care?
Still, something creative would be nice.
Like bury me in the backyard up to my neck, no embalming. I'll enrich the lawn and feed the local wildlife. Plus, no one's gonna rob a house with a corpse sticking out of the lawn.

Cremation saves money, my grandpa saved $8,000 by cremating my grandma.

Burn me. In a boat, with all my possessions, and a dog at my feet.

After that huge scandal involving Cremation in Georgia I think Burial might be the better option.

I will be cremated and have my ashes sprinkled in Salma Hayeks lingerie drawer.

Burial plots are being used up at a pheonimal pace, soon it will be impossible to be buried. You will have to be cremated.
Being shot into space is a shallow idea, your remains would be merely held by the Earth`s gravity pull and would eventually be pulled back into orbit and be burned into nothingness upon re-entry.

Seriously. I don't care either.
My oldest uncle who passed away donated his body to science-- no funeral.

Organ donation. If not, then Burial I guess. Don't really get the point of Cremation.

Ever hear the phrase "ashes to ashes, dust to dust"?

That phrase always reminds me of this movie I watched when I was a little kid:

I've arranged to donate my body to science so doctors can learn more about my disability. They cremate the remains when they're done, though, so...

Recycle the organs.
Cremate the rest.

I'm glad to see so many people choosing cremation. Cremation discourages zombie-ism.
If we band together and support the ritual burning of all corpses, someday our great-grandchildren will live in a zombie-free world.

Cremation after organ donation. I see no sense in using up perfectly good land for a cemetary when it could be a golf course.

"Burial" in space.
Strange that so many people want to be fired into space after death. You can do that while you're still alive, you know. I would assume it's a sight more thrilling while you still have a pulse.

David Cross feels the same way. According to his logic, since he's dead and won't even mind, he's going to write a stipulation into his will that bequeaths his corpse to necrophiliacs. That way they get a free night of completely legal love, and he won't mind anyway.
David Cross is a really kind-hearted, thoughtful guy.

I hate to say it (for multiple reasons) but I'd just rather not die. That's a damned cop-out and a shame - not to mention irrelevant to the FACT that whenever my time comes, my ass is grass.
Grr. If I had to pick one, I'd go for burial. Dammit.
EDIT: No organ donation, btw.

Sorry, man, but Death comes to all. Unless you manage to freeze yourself or create a Lazarus Pit.
Several people have been putting up good ideas that make them useful after death.
west3man, you'll be dead when they harvest your organs. Why do you care about that?

Too many episodes of E.R., maybe?
I don't want anybody's attention split between saving my life and using my organs to save someone else's.

No, no. I mean AFTER you are dead.

No, no. I mean AFTER you are dead.
It's not just week-old corpses that are considered for organ harvesting. Whether it's lettuce or livers, fresher is better.
As far as I know, there's no guarantee that I'll have been GOOD and dead before someone says, "Heyyyy, this heart would look real good in Suzie! Can I get this in an '8'?"
