I'll have to put the Son of Satan on my radar. I have the Marvel Premiere (I think those were it) issues but not his own series.
I't's actually Marvel Spotlight in which SoS appears.
But of the last issue in the other eponymous series (#8), I think its far to say that Russ Heath turns out not only one of the most unlikely, but most outstanding jobs of his long and magisterial career in comics.

Superman 305 : Return of the original Toyman !
This is a great one that I myself only bought and read fairly recently. Of course, you really need to have #306 on hand to read the whole story. Great cliffhanger at the end of #305!!

No prob. There are companies that reprint that kind of stuff in issues now too. Look through your Previews and you may find them! That's even CHEAPER!
Very true. I am awaiting the Miss Fury HC release next month.

Yep -- hence its ranking as #9 (http://forums.comicbookresources.com/showthread.php?t=98029) (from back during my days as No Caps Lad, an incarnation that I swear could return at any moment when I'm at home & dealing with a keyboard that only fitfully acknowledges the left-hand shift key; why I can't get the hang of using its right-hand equivalent, I have no idea, though I suppose my knee-jerk rejection of all things to the right could be involved) among my all-time favorite single issues.

Wow! This is our first thread to hit 5,000 replies.
As part of keeping the forum running smoothly, all threads with 5,000+ posts are to be closed.
I'll start a new one up in a moment.
