Hi.
My name is Jeremiah Hammer and I've been working on a story for a comic for the last too many years. I've gotten incredible feedback on my work, but the issues people almost unanimously have are with the dialog. This is where I'm seeking help.
The story is sort of a combination of Hellboy (in the sense of a grand, quirky mythology - the comic, not the movie) meets Lord of the Rings all (well, mostly) set in an undersea environment. Lots of strange, visually exciting characters and exotic locales with a lot of character development set against the backdrop of an epic battle between kingdoms.
I have the plot pretty well layed out for four issues, but I am definitely willing to add whatever ideas you may have, as well as characters, as long as they gel with the overall feel of the story. From past experience, I've found it hard to get two minds to meld in unison on a vision that may be more heavily one sided.
If interested, and bored with all the super hero, fantasy (elf, dwarf, wizard ie) stuff, and would like to be a part of something incredibly unique (not just my opinion), please let me know. I have thumb nails of the complete first four issues as well as a handful of finished pages ready to share with you.
Below is an idea for a pin up or cover, showcasing three of the main characters.
Thanks,
Jeremiah
