He barges in on the Wildcats demanding to know if they've killed Captain Atom, and then starts spouting nonsense about how his death would destroy the universe.

I'd imagine his own existence would be evidence enough to the contrary.

He isn't the only one in Captain Atom:Armageddon who suddenly lost over half his IQ.

And thus, you know why I never bothered reading past the first issue.

Look at that... Will Pfeifer manages to stuff up the characterization of ANOTHER Wildstorm character... who'd have thought it possible? oh wait... everyone who has ever read any Wildstorm before and is reading this series...

do your homework

and would someone please fire the editor? if a decent editor was working on these books, about 75% of this story would have been re-written

I'll do it. I've got no qualms about providing retribution for unexonerable editing.

I think I read somewhere that Grant Morrison is going to be the line editor of the new books. I will rejoice when Mr.Abernathy has moved on to smaller and more insignificant things.

Honestly... I still want Alex Sinclair back as line editor... no offense to Morrison, but Sinclair KNOWS the WSU... he was the editor during one of the best periods of Wildstorm content... a lot of good things happened under him... under the present editor (who's name is escaping me right now), it has been nothing but continuity and characterization gaffes in ALL of the books (except Team Zero)... some were minor, others were major... since the change in editors, I've noticed a monumental increase in continuity and characterization errors at a time when errors should be prevented at all costs (as it seems that Majestic leads to Nemesis, which leads to Armageddon, which leads to the relaunch)... this is a time when errors are the most damaging in the direction of the WSU for the immediate future...

I must concur. I can overlook minor continuity discrepensies, but this is getting ridiculous. Captain Atom: Armageddon is the worst offender in that regard. Considering that it's supposed to herald the relaunch, those kinds of gaffles should indeed be avoided.

Well to be fair (or not) they haven't even explained why and how the universe is goig to die from Cap yet. I know he apperently has a potion of the viod energies. But does that mean he is going to literaly explode?

And I was going to start a new thread but this one is perfect...anyone else notice how OOC The Authority is acting? The idea of the aurthority going evil and big brotherish is so stupid. We've had the idea of an evil authoirty done four times already. Can't this guy atleast use one of the cooler ideas?

Obviously DC didn't exactly search for the most creative and knowledgeable writer when they decided to write this series...

honestly, after this, I will never again purchase anything with Will Pfeifer's name on it...
