Mine would be a massive Marvel crossover event called "Dark Tribunal".
The basic plot goes like this: It starts in an issue of Exiles, they're battling some random villain, then suddenly reality itself starts to collapse all around them. There's a conversation with the villain along the lines of:
"How are you doing this!?"
"What? I'm not doing this!"
Then the villain dies and they barely escape before the universe itself is destroyed.
Meanwhile, Dr. Strange detects instabilities in the multiverse, and he finds out that universe after universe is being slowly, systematically destroyed. After conversing with Eternity and a bunch of other high - end cosmics, he still can't figure out what's causing it. That is, until Eternity tries to contact the Living Tribunal. However, the LT refuses to respond, and so Strange and a group of cosmics including Galactus and the Celestials travel to the Tribunal's home between the multiverse, but then they discover that he is looks really evil and deformed, and he has been corrupted by some evil force and is slowly destroying the multiverse! He banishes them with a wave of his hand back to their home universe.
However, Dr. Strange notes that the LT seemed less powerful than he usually was, that was why it was taking him so long to destroy the multiverse. The evil force had corrupted him, but weakened him, too, however he was still stronger than any other cosmic.
Anyway the story would include things such as actually getting to meet the One Above All, and a desperate struggle against the clock to unite heroes from every universe (Ultimate Cap and 616 Cap will meet each other and argue over who leads one of the teams, for example).
So what do you think? Any good?
