The new costume and the uncertainty about "being back" had me wondering. Tim seemed to take on an identity very much apart from Batman through most of his career, so maybe he took on a new costumed identity and this is someone else. Any thoughts on this?

After Tim was replaced by Spoiler and then he came back I can't see DC replacing him yet again.

I believe it's been stated that Robin is indeed Tim Drake.

Maybe after Crisis Tim just has a slightly different attitude.

His attitude changes yes. I believe i've read that somewhere.
The new costume looks cool, but nothing beats his old one.

The big question is.....who is Nightwing after this ? I really wonder what they do with him in his series.

I'm pretty confident that it's Tim, but time will tell. I just don't see them switching up Robin again so soon after the Spolier storyline.

Sure he's Tim Drake, he's just been through the trauma of being murdered and dipped in a Lazarus Pit, that's all.

I think he means Jason Todd? Maybe?Nah I saw similar speculation about Tim somewhere else too, but it might've been the same person. Haven't seen anything so far to support that theory though.
And it's definately Tim. It's Tim on Teen Titans also.

Yeah, I heard Tim's personality doesn't seem consistant, but I suppose we'll have to wait and see if that's intentional or not. I'm kinda liking the new costume though.

I think it's referring to the Titans of the Future arc. TT v3 16-19. Something about a deal Tim made with Ra's Al Ghul.

The latest Robin I saw who was glad to be back, I was kind of thinking it might've been Jason Todd, Robin II back in the costume. I thought he looked a bit older! I also kind of thought that it might have been Dick!! but I suppose that Tim, oyl would look a bit older wouldn't he...silly me.

it's the internet. it's what we do. I also think they're basing it off that one panel where he appears to be hopping. I mean c'mon robin doesn't hop. wtf is up with that?

Well, Dick was famous for the Robin hop and basically acting like a kid on a sugar high (he was adorkable in New Frontier)...which I suppose he kinda was. Tim was always a bit more restrained and Jason seemed to fluctuate between bouncing off the walls and leaning on them for a good 'no one understands me' style pout.
And as I said, I'm only basing it on what I HEARED.

I don't mind the robin hop and I think we're looking way too into his appearance. that was my ill fated attempt at humor. but to make sense of the hop, they landed on the batsignal. he had to get down somehow and sliding off is very unsuperhero.

For all of you confused about the line... Not sure yet how it feels to be back.. DOn't forget that in the past year Batman and Robin have been missing from Gotham. This will be explored in 52.
