I've been preparing for the move to Florida the past couple weeks and so haven't been around as much lately.

It's been crazy; my movers arrived Thursday, a full day ahead of time (which was not a good thing, as we were woefully unprepared), but then it was the Bataan Death March Move from Hell because one of the two movers had the stomach flu and was on the hopper most of the day.

Then, today, as I was entertaining the kids, my wife lost the keys to the car. So much for getting an early start tomorrow. But, after a quick stop at our local car dealer, we should be on the road.

20 hours in the car with my 4 and 2 year old. If I'm not crazy now, I soon will be.

At last the day is here, so I'll be offline for the next two weeks or so. All the best, CBR, and I'll see you in the Sunshine State!

You're moving to the Domino's Catholic Town, aren't you?

Fair Weather! (Though that might be oxymoronic for Florida)

Scott -- if you're reading this somewhere via WiFi -- do not, I repeat do not, stop at South of the Border if you're going through North and South Carolina.

You will thank me, your large and small intestines will thank me, and your wife and children will consider me an uncle forever.

Just ignore the alluring racist imagery and cheap puns of Pedro, the temptation of cheap fireworks and plastic vomit, and the blinding neon lights of a complex that is probably visible from space. Stay focused on the road ahead of you.

By all that's holy, please heed my words.
