I think we discussed this briefly at some point but it doesn't seem to have its own thread, so... Mega Man Powered Up for PSP. This is now the game that makes me envy PSP owners.

Here's the official Japanese site: http://www.capcom.co.jp/psp_rockman/ (flash site with sound)

Mega Man Powered Up is a remake of the original Mega Man on the PSP. If you beat a robot master with only the normal gun you can actually play as that character. It also includes a level design mode that sounds really amazing, and you can download fan-created levels from the internet.

Jeremy Parish (http://toastyfrog.1up.com/) has been discussing the game in his blog for the past few days and it sounds great. Someone's already created a version of world 1-1 from Super Mario Bros.

Here's a forum thread that contains a thorough review of it, too: http://www.ga-forum.com/showthread.php?t=88572

The first thing that pops into my head when I see this game is Oilman.

Any idea what they're going to call this in the US? I mean, they can't just keep it as Mega Man PU ;)

All jokes aside, this game does look good.

I think they should call it Mega Man You Can Finally Play As The Bosses Like You've Always Dreamed Oh Yes And Also There's A Level Editor.

Why Megaman one?
I thought it was the common belief Megaman 2 was the best of those games before the X series.
At least, thats the way it was when i was a kid.

They same reason they did MMX1 when X2/X4 are the best in the series.

They're starting from scratch
