What do you think it is about your approach to the character that resonates so well with readers?

To be honest I'm not entirely sure, I was pleasantly surprised with the reaction my work received and I'm very grateful for all the feedback. All I know is that my approach was stemming entirely from a fan's perspective.

The part quoted was my favorite part... sometimes I think writers can forget what it was like to be a fan and what brought them to the character in the first place... Shane wrote a kick ass Batman story he as a fan would want and based on the response it's what the fans DO want!

That was a great interview. DC should put Shane on a regular batbook. I will buy it every month if he were on it.

I'd love to see him on a regular bat title myself. He's impressed me with his work in a big way. Hopefully, DC will take notice and give him a chance once their's an opening.

I loved Shane's arc on 'Tec. If DC gave him a full time gig on a Batman title, I'd buy every issue.
