They just got together for their mini. Well, Strange, Hulk and Namor did.

And I'd but the GLX at the top. Not only do they have Doorman, the have Doreen. And mock her if you want, but she's been shown taking out people that would solo the other teams on this list.

Second in power should be the Runaways. Mostly because Molly has shown the ability to slap Wolverine around through his jobber aura.

I'd go for the Defenders on #1 too (if they count). The Surfer and Dr. Strange are hard to take out even with the Sentry on your team. They have the power cosmic and the sorcerer supreme, and three of them are class 100 strength.
They would have trouble facing a team with the Sentry on though

I think FF could take any team 'cause Reed is too smart and Sue is bad.

I actually do think Tony can take out Radioactive Man by himself. I think Iron Man actually took on Radioactive Man AND Titanium Man and Crimson Dynamo when they were the Titanic Three.

Cage really does'nt have a good shot at beating Atlas though.

That said, Genis is the only reason Sentry shoudln't be able to own the TBolts single handedly. So I'd say you can argue TBolts are more powerful than the NA only for another few weeks.

If you're saying the New Avengers are BELOW every other team I think you're selling Sentry short. He can solo most teams by himself. Look at the collection of people Void smacked around in the New Avengers story arc... that's what the NA have on their team now.

Spidey is a bit upgraded (if the suit SOMEHOW protects him from Radioactive Man's little trick, that alone would make a rematch worthwhile). And a full completent of Avengers would have Logan.

But the bottom line is the only fight that matters is Sentry vs Genis. If Sentry can beat Genis, he can beat the Tbolts single handedly. If Genis can remove Sentry from the fight, Avengers probably can't win.

This thread, as are similar ones I've seen on some other boards, is
simply absurd. I can't understand how anyone -- when taking the
totality of what I write and more importantly WHO I write -- could even
ask the question, much less make a thread out of it.
Of course, if you DON'T take the above into context -- what I write and
who I write -- then I guess you could confuse yourself.

I write DEADPOOL. He makes fun of EVERYTHING. I've seen a few people
who put 2 and 2 together and get CHEESE. "Deadpool made fun of how
Hawkeye died, Fabian must hate Bendis." Those same posters fail to
mention that in the same issue of CDP, Fabian might have had Deadpool
make fun of 50 other things -- INCLUDING FABIAN HIMSELF, who seems to
be the biggest regular target of Fabian's wrath... just check out any
CDP letters pages. So why not a thread, Does Fabian Hate Himself?
Of course Deadpool made fun of how Hawkeye died. Why? BECAUSE IT WAS A
FRICKIN' EASY TARGET! You think a hack like me is going to avoid an
easy target for DP to make fun of when the opportunity presents itself?

DP makes fun of LOTS of stuff, it's what he does. Does that mean I
personally believe everything he says? Uhm... no, he's a CHARACTER I
write. I could also have Dr. Strange say, "By the Hoary Hosts of
Hoggoth, make a beer appear!" But that doesn't mean I expect it to
happen. Hmm... might be worth a try...

I also write THUNDERBOLTS. It is a book about VILLAINS trying (and
usually failiing miserably) to become heroes. Most of these characters
have longstanding reasons to hate the Avengers almost as much as they
hate themselves. So in a 2 part story, the CSA blackmails the TBolts
into ambushing the Avengers and teaching them a lesson -- and they do.
EMPHASIS ON THE AMBUSH. 9 times out of 10, the Avengers kick the crap
out of the T-Bolts. I happened to write the 1 time it didn't happen.
The fight was, IMO, very well planned and choreographed and easily
believable as to how the TBolts could have won -- THAT PARTICULAR
FIGHT. That has nothing to do with Bendis, and only partially to do
with the New Avengers, since I could simply point to their book and say
we haven't seem them have much practice time together which could give
the TBolts the advantage they had.

If I wrote a rematch, the Avengers would kick the living crap out of
the TBolts. Give them 5 minutes to plan for it and it's a no-brainer.
Does that mean again, that I must hate myself because I think the
TBolts would lose? No, I'm writing characters in settings -- sometimes,
the characters and settings control what I write, other times, the
writer controls the setting and the characters.

I've never even met Bendis and if I ever get the chance at a con, I'd
simply say, "You're one hell of an f-in good writer. I read on line
that we hate each other. Bummer. So who buys the beer, you or me?"
As for what, if anything, Bendis has to say about me, as is paraphrased
by others, I have neither clue nor interest. He is entitled to his
opinions and his beliefs, informed or otherwise, and has more than
ample forums in which to state them. He's top dog, so unfortunately,
that means lots of people will take shots at him. Conversely, he has
earned the clout to take his own shots as well. I've been way too
successful in this industry for way too long and I am way too
comfortable with myself and my life to care very much about what people
in our industry have to say about each other or what fans have to say
about us. I outgrew all that crap a long time ago.

So end this thread now. I spent far more time on this than it
warranted, but I've grown tired of seeing this buzzing about.

Hmm, the thing with Genis is that he wildly fluctuates in power it seems. I guess the same can be said for the Sentry though but I'd also be in favor of their lineups after their newest status quo changes.

That was the one thing that made Genis writtable... he powers didn't seem to work quite well half the time. And if he's fighting Sentry, they better dam work perfectly. Sentry has his own issues, but issues aside his powers should still work in a fight.
