So wait, let me get this straight. Not only do you and tish post in all the same threads and have the exact same writing "style" complete with the same recurrent errors; but you're also both diabetic? My oh my, what ARE the odds.

...the odds that the Black, male poster known as blackdragon6 is actually "a heavily armed, black, bi-sexual, truck driving woman who likes going to the clubs?"
hmmm.
not as good as the chances that YoursTruly and Trulyures might be the same person (http://forums.comicbookresources.com/showpost.php?p=2703354&postcount=3408).

My sister and one of my brothers were both diagnosed with diabetes at the age of three and are in their late 40's now. Both of them have had major complications in recent years and my sister has the dubious honour of experiencing every complication possible.

I think most complications are the result of accumulative damage over the long term and usually involve the circulatory system. Organs with lots of tiny blood vessels are affected the most. I worked at a camp for diabetic children about 20 years ago and saw some examples of people experiencing very high blood sugar and very low blood sugar. These days diabetics are educated better and have more ultimate control (and responsibility) for keeping their condition under control but no matter how much discipline you have your blood sugar will fluctuate and in the long term complications will likely develop. My sister had kidney failure a couple of months ago but it only lasted a couple of days and she didn't have to do dialysis.

i'm glad to hear your sister is doing better.but i constantly live with the fear of my blood sugar getting high or low.especialy with this 1000 milligram of metformin the doc gave me.these pills drops your sugar fast as hell.

I know many diabetics because of my experience working at a diabetic camp but they all have Type 1 diabetes. You sound like you have Type 2. I haven't heard of metformin before. Do you take it when your blood sugar spikes or is it something you take daily?
