Swamp Thing #25: Spoilers

Anyone else read the new issue?

Abby gets back together with Alec at her house. The two avoid a fight, and spend the night together. At her workplace, Abby takes a young girl, a refuge from Hurricane Katrina who has turned to selling herself to live, under her wing. Unfortunately, they're attacked by a pair of psychotic frogs who proceed to bite half the young girl's head off before Abby makes a final stand.

I think that about sums it up, lol. I've been reading this book since the beginning and will admit to sometimes not being sure what's going on... still love it, though.

Thought it was a good issue, and am glad to see the series is continuing.

Surely there are other fans of the "new" Swampy series, yes?

Didnt Arcane become evil again? How does this run compare to Mark Millars run on Swampy?

Nope. I gave up on the book after Diggle left.

I liked this issue a lot. The book really needed Abby back in the story. I'm amazed DC is still publishing this title, given the sales, but I'm glad it's continuing.

As one who was kind of hoping it would get cancelled so that I could stop buying it, I kind of dug this issue. I don't think I'm reading closely enough b/c I often get confused while reading, but this one made sense, and I enjoyed it. It was hilarious that the frog thing bit that chick's head in half... not clean off, but in HALF. Hah. :)

It just narrowly avoided the drop list with this issue
