Reminds me of "Blair's Saturday night at the train station"!

The best part was either the "grenade" or the delayed reaction from the driver (reminded me of the Original Goldeneye on the N64. Bad guys would tactically roll, get shot, emerge from roll, THEN die)

The ad was well done, enough that I actually got into and felt a bit of "will-they-or-won't they" tension, even though it's all just in fun. Too bad the lawyers apparently got, uh, gunshy.

I would have loved to been a part of this commercial. Like being 10 all over again. And you get a check afterwards. The ending was brilliant.

Was probablly banned for being stupid.

Maybe I just prefer my advertisements to actually have something to do with the product they are associated with. This one had none at all. Just like what does a poorly spoken black doll have to do with sprite? Or car commercials that up until the very end dont have any cars in them? Or those god forsaken levi's 501 jeans commercials.

Most ad's now try for some gimick or try to be funny then at the end they tell you what its for. It just seems if your going advertise your product you would atleast talk about it or something and not do the exact opposite.

That looked like a fun comercial. I was saying to myself "they are not going to do this", but they did. Damn shame you just can't do fun things like this anymore.

Do you really, at this point, need someone to tell you what Sprite is? Or Burger King? It's better to make a funny or otherwise memorable commercial than a forgettable one educating you about a product that's been publicly familiar for 60 years.

A boring laundry list of tech specs interests no one. I came across this commercial a few months ago and it kicked ass.

Besides, it does have something to do with the product. Xbox live :)

One of the strengths of the Xbox, and the cornerstone they are trying to build the 360 on, is online gameplay. The message of the ad is "the world are your playmates" - it's selling the idea you can log on at anytime and find plenty of people to play with. Now, if it's not to your taste, fair enough. But it actually does have something to say about the product, even if the message is somewhat abstracted. And personally, I find an ad like this a lot more entertaining, creative and evocative then footage of some dudes mashing controlers and yelling into their headsets.

I could swear I saw this on TV, did it air?

It did air, because I've seen it months ago. I'm guessing it was banned after some soccermoms complained.

I believe it was an anti-gun group that got it banned.

That was one of the best commercials I've ever seen.

I love the chick that hides and then throws the grenade. That's totally what I would do.

why was this banned?

SAMAS

Because someone was afraid it would make children run around pointing fingers at each other and shouting "bang!"

why was this banned?
Because it has "guns" in it.

Same goes for the "Black" commercial they aired over here. The Gun Control network petitioned to have it removed.

why was this banned?

Because it was more than just a few screenshots, and some voice yelling the name of the console.

Can't have a creative, fun experience. Oh no.
