Have you read any funny classic superhero comics?
Well there are comics that was supposed to be funny like Plastic Man or Blue Devil but there often is funny things in ordinary superhero comics too.
Intensional or unintensional(can be more fun than intensional).
I have a vauge one that i don't remember what comic it was but it is a something Ditko had done, one masked hero is punching the other one and the soundFX says WRECKAGE!, thats a real hit, no lame weak POFF or SMASH! :D
WRECKAGE!!! then you now you have scored a perfect destroying hit.
Still funny now when i think of it :D
There is a lot more of course but just as an example.

Peter Bagge always drew great sound effects in Hate. My favorite was when Stinky barged in on his roommate Buddy, who was trying to enjoy a romantic dinner. The sound effect that the door made was "BARGE!". Once they got in a fight with sound effects like "GOUGE!" and "INFLICT!".

I've noticed quite a few modern fans not being able to tell the difference, actually, and thinking that blatantly intentional humor... isn't. (C'mon. "Giant Size Man Thing?" Not like Gerber didn't know what was goin' down THERE!"

That was inocent times :D
Even if the creator know what he did, a lot of people over him did not.

...the failure of residents of the DC Universe to realize that the blonde, goateed Oliver Queen was the blonde, goateed Green Arrow is, in retrospect, outright hilarious.

Yes Grell tried to ditch the mask in the 80s but people went crazy over that.

One thing I always loved about early Captain Marvel was that you were never sure when you were laughing with the comic and when you were laughing at it. I'd like to assume that Fawcett intended for us to laugh at the Good Captain all those times, but I don't really know for sure.

My favorite sound effect was the Golden Age comic with a sound effect of "Ralf". Another of my favorites (alsoo golden age) was the issue of All Winners Squad with the following exchange
Captain America (I think): Namor, that's your name!
Namor: huh...
*Namor storms off*
Captain America: What's eating you Toro?
Later in the issue.
Narrarator: And [I cant remember the name of the female character] is hit IRONICALLY on the back of the head by a rock.
I think it had this cover. http://www.medinnus.com/winghead/comics/ga/allwinners_19.jpg . It was the girl on that cover. Who was that?

Just type

and, of course, remove the *s in order to make it work.

Was that during the Prestige Series, which I have not read, The Longbow Hunters? I remember GA whining about being a Superhero in the Millenium mini.
