I'm thinking about collecting the TT series from 03, I already bought a couple issues. Does anybody think I should stop, or that they're not worth it? Feedback would be greatly appreciated.

I love the series. It has great characters and the stories have always been entertaining and felt epic, while being self contained.

I think #1-#23 are gold. #24-#26 and #29-#31 are okay. #32 is pretty good. #27-28 are trash.

Here's a recent thread where a lot of posters gave their opinions on the title:
Why am I reading Teen Titans? (http://forums.comicbookresources.com/showthread.php?t=109549&)
Personally I dropped the title before the end of the second arc.

I'm asking if it's "worth" the time collecting. Never reading any of the series I'm asking if anybody else think's that it's not very good. Sure I think the art is pretty good but that's only half of what I look for, the story also has to be good and seeing as I've never read one before I thought to ask here. It's like if you're thinking of buying a new ferrari and you see someone who already has the same ferrari you want get out of his car in the parking lot, wouldn't you ask him how it performs and if it's worth the money you have to pay to get it?

Well, if you've already bought a few issues, you must have an idea of whether you like it or not. Keep buying them until you stop liking them. As someone else pointed out, there's a thread full of opinions on the Teen Titans, but ultimately, it comes down to your own tastes, doesn't it?

So I actually haven't read any yet. It's true that it all comes down to your own tastes but a lot of times people will say something is crappy and then you buy it to see for yourself and it turns out to be crappy, then you sulk because you spent money on something you'll never use again.

It's worth picking up in trade for the price alone. They're only $9.99 each, and can be purchased cheaper used.

I'm a fan of the book, and would recommend collecting it. However, the book's been bogged down a bit recently. After the excellent crossover with the Outsiders (24-25), there were some awful issues by Rob Liefeld, and then a bunch of Infinite Crisis tie-in issues. Overall, I think these issues have been the worst of the series, and aren't really indicative of the quality of the book.
I'd say definitely check out the first One Year Later issue. This should give an indication of the quality of the book, and the direction it's heading in.
