Are his copied FF powers as powerfull as the originals or somewhat weaker?
This has been bugging me for a few days since I´ve heard both from different sources.

I believe they were weaker but that might of changed.

Also he can do some random things with their powers that they can't such as flaming on in space.

At full power, he is over Class 100, per FF #18, vol 1. But I think that has been retconned away or forgotten.

Super Skrull's powers were originally far weaker than the Fantastic Four's. For a time, his strength limit was only 10 tons, and he could only go invisible, not use force fields. Over time, his powers have increased(and Runaways volume 2 kinda-sorta provides some explanation of how). In his next appearance, IIRC, they were said to be at half-power. Currently, I believe his abilities are at least half as strong, if not at full power.

Also of note: in the miniseries Marvel Boy, the character of Midas achieved a level of all of the FF's powers far beyond even the FF themselves.

The version I heard is that orginally Super-Skrull had a set of Skrull Satellites continuoulsly beaming him cosmic power amping his abillites far beyond those of the FF. But due to his reapeated failures the satellites were deccomissioned by the Skrull Empire and he had to make due with ambient cosmic energy. At first he had a dependancy on the satillites so he initially suffered a massive power drop. But over time his body began to adapt and started processing cosmic energy more efficently and he steadily grew in power over his subsequent appearences. Most recently he's been repeatedly billed as having all the powers of the Fantastic Four with no weakness mentioned.

No, originally, his powers were far, FAR stronger than the FF's. Looking over my copy of FF #18, reprinted in The Essential Fantastic Four Vol 1, Super-Skrull could stretch over one hundred miles, fire anti-matter fireballs, lift a generator that weighed OVER one hundred tons with the comment being made that, as far as the Skrull command was concerned, the Thing could only lift five tons...and SS was shown actually doing this, along with his powers of hypnosis.

Speaking of Super Skrull... He recently appeared in the pages on Young Avengers. Are they playing any part in Annihilation.

They seem to be dealing with alot of cosmic activity right now, and I thought perhaps they tied into this.

I remember his musing about having powers beyond the FF in an early issue of Thor.

He's pretty much the most powerful person in the Marvel universe.

Well, technically speaking, he should be one of the more powerful people in the Marvel Universe. He's got Thing-level strength, Stretching, Firepowers, Invisibility and Forcefields, all on top of his natural Skrull shapeshifting powers and his seldom-used hypnosis abilities.

...If he wasn't such a moron, he'd actually be far more dangerous..

Heh pretty much dude.

I think Paibok is more dangerous given his higher intelligence and ability to delegate better from what I've seen of him in Drax. Still, I'm a fan of Super-Skrull and I can't wait to see him kick some ass in his mini.

I´m thinking that a powerfull Iron man could give him a good fight.
We´ll see what he can do in his mini.

I think Super-Skrull could really have inventive uses for his hybrid FF powers such as encasing a force bubble with intense nova heat to throw as hot plasma towards enemies or shifting his rock hands into bladed or sharpened rock weapons.

Hopefully we'll see some cool stuff with him soon.
