Yes, there is a metal stronger than adamantium and this metal is 616 classic Juggernaut's armor. If you notice, nothing ever harmed 616 classic Juggernauts armor so this lead me to believe that Juggernaut's armor is in fact more durable than adamantium.

Wasnt Juggy's armor magic or something? So does that really count?

There are several metals stronger than adamantium: the vibranium-alloy Captain America's shield is made from, the metal of Black Knight's Ebony sword, various metals in 2099 and Guardiands of the Galaxy future and probably some more.

Cap's shield is not stronger, it is just much better at absorbing impacts.
The ebony blade is magic so I am not sure that counts.
2099 and GoG probably do have better metals though

Juggernaut exhibits a magical force field around him. It's not the metal that's truly withstanding all of those blows.

When Juggernaut survived Thor's God blast he didn't summon the magic shield. He doesn't use the shield to take on all blows

juggernaut's powers/armor are derived from magical origins.
whatever his armor is made of has nothing to do with how strong the actual material is.

No, it does have a greater tensile strength.
And Guardians of the Galaxy have Dargonite. Named for Dargo Ktor, Thor 2587.
There's also the fact that the metal on Wolverine's skeleton isn't Adamantium. It's an altered version (perhaps stronger) of the metal called Adamantium Beta.
It could explain why it was able to deflect blows from the Black Knights Ebony "magical cut all" Blade without being damaged.

Incorrect, sir. Adamantium was created when scientists attempt to recreate Cap's shield and failed0. In other words: adamantium was a byproduct of that failure.
The Juggernaut's powers--his invulnerability & strength--derive from the mystical Crimson Gem of Cyrrotak. You can't equate a mystical substance with adamantium, a man-made substance.

I remember reading a What If? featuring Wolverine: Enemy Of The State. I think he actually stabbed through Cap's shield.

In the same issue in which he took down Magneto and Invisible Woman at the same time and killed all Marvel Heroes, including the Sentry, Hulk and Dr. Strange:rolleyes:

I know, I saw a post up there and though "did I post that?", then I noticed the date.
Someone is to be commended for using the search function before starting a new thread.

I would also nominate She-Hulk's bra for Strongest Known Material.
Not only for its obvious tensile strength, but for the fact that, no matter HOW big the explosion that shreds everything else she's wearing, her bra remains undamaged. Clearly it's stronger than any ol' vibranium or adamantium.

I remember the old MU handbooks had Adamantium at class 1000, Caps shield, being a hybrid, was class 3000. Juggs invincibility is derived from a magicl gem, it has nothing to do with his armor. Naked, he is just as formidable.........um, and scarier.
