I think Solo is one of the coolest idea in a while. I really like the latest issue(Scott Hampton) any comment on this title?

I really love it. My favorite thus far has been the Paul Pope one. I really liked his short Batman story in it. I hope this series keeps going and going. One of DC's best ideas.

Solo is a great series of books that focus one artist each issue. The Artist usually does a series of short stories.
My favorite is still the Tim Sale's issue.

Dude You really should pick it up. This title showed me that you can really tell a very good story with just 2-3 pages. I prefer it over some titles which has full 22 pages but nothing happen.

Hell Yes!

Aside from Jonah Hex, this is DC's best book out there right now. Its a great showcase for artists to pull out all the strings. My best ones have been Darwyn Cooke and Mike Allred; both have used all sorts of mediums (painting, sketches to straight storytelling) in their issues. The Jordi Bernet and the Paul Pope come next, then the Teddy Kristiansen, then Howard Chaykin, with the Tim Sale as my least favorite.

Don't know about the upcoming one: Damion Scott. Doesn't sound like a winner. His Robin proved his track record.

Maleficentogre,

While opinoins vary on here... If you really want to check out Solo you should really check out Mike Allred's Solo Issue #7 (http://forums.comicbookresources.com/showthread.php?t=88250&highlight=Solo). It has been my favorite so far. Darwyn Cooke's being a very close second, Paul Pope's Batman Stories, and Tim Sale's Supergirl story rounding out the top on my list.

The latest issue was Scott Hampton's. I really enjoyed the first Batman story in it, but the rest of the story was borderline for me.

I've enjoyed all of them. Every so often I remember it's $4.99 and wince, but each issue so far has been worth the price.

Darwyn Cooke & Mike Allred's respective issues of Solo were great. The others, not so much...

I haven't loved every issue of SOLO, but I've at least found something interesting in each one. The only one that struck me as kind of blah was Teddy Kristiansen's.

On the other hand, I'd be making sweet love to Mike Allred's issue if it was a woman.

I've got the Tim Sale and Darwyn Cooke issues.

Will probably get the Sergio Aragones and JG Lopez ones too.

At first I thought this was about the movie Solo. The movie was OK, but I thought it was a bit strange that there would be a comic about it. False alarm.

I've got them all. Scott Hampton and Tim Sale's were my favorites.
I agree with Dubip, this is one of the best DC series.
