I haven't been back to this board in forever it seems. I handed over the moderator keys, and then did the bolt!! Probably the biggest reason behind my prolonged absence has been a total, all-consuming apathy concerning my drawing. I couldn't hold a pen for ten minutes, let alone physically force myself to sketch something properly.
I still feel that way to a large extent. But, a family friend has a business tutoring primary school kids in music, and is designing a workbook that she hopes to build an entire course around, and then sell the program to other teachers. Somebody (I strongly suspect my wife, but she isn't confessing to anything!) passed a few of my old pics along, and they've harrassed me for a good six months, begging me to draw stuff for them.
So, I've finally relented. Designed a simple character for young kids, to help them identify the style of music they're listening to. I've done three, and as I do the rest I'll probably follow up here on the NEB. Let me know what you think, okay? As I said, it's been a bloody long time and I'm exercising muscles I haven't used in years.
