Earth 2's Earth 1 (Crime Syndicate Question)?

I was thinking about how to label the different earths if the multiverse were to come back which got me pondering:

Morrison brought back the Crime Syndicate and made the current DC-verse "Earth 2" because the Syndicate discovered the JLA. Now that would mean that there's an Earth 1, within our current Earth 2 universe.

But if the multiverse were to come back, would the CSA's world be Earth 2's earth 1 and other earths have their own earths within their earths?

I happen to agree with this assessment -I think DC though will make some sort of change that will make the anti-matter universe it's own separate universe within the multiverse after Infinite Crisis (IF they keep the multiverse) to avoid any further confusion.

I hadn't heard that before, not that I recall. I think I've usually done it as follows:

"Earth-1" is where DC's Silver Age characters lived.

"Earth-2" is where DC's Golden Age characters lived.

If I put "Earth-2" and "Grant Morrison" in the same sentence, I'm probably talking about his "JLA: Earth-2" graphic novel. Otherwise, whenever I mention "Earth-2" without dragging Morrison in, I'm talking about the Pre-Crisis version :)
