Anyone have this 80's collecton. Some (unintentionally) hilarious stories in it. That's where my sig is from. The atomic knights story was pretty bad though...

i found a beat-up copy for $1 at the local library a couple of years ago. can't say i remember anything in it -- atomic knights included -- as being "pretty bad," but of course strange adventures (which included, i believe, all the atomic knights strips) & from beyond the unknown were 2 of my favorite comics in the early '70s.

Let me rephrase "not bad just extremely unmemorable". The main protagonist gets amnesia and makes headlines for being average! Just weird... :)

I think I have that book, but mine is copyright 1999. It's from DC but has a "Pulp Fiction Library" blurb in the top right corner of the cover.

I never understood the reason for DC's blandness in the 50s till I read the Men of Tomorrow book. Unlike most publishers in the 50s who went the Crime and Gore route with their books, DC made a every effort to keep their books squeaky clean. Till I read that book, I never realized what a national uproar there was over the content of most comics. DC deserves credit for taking the high road.

Gotta love Space Cabby.
