The first publicity shot from the series has arrived, along with some casting news-Eve Myles, who played Gwyneth in the Unquiet Dead, is now...umm...Gwen, (a reincarnation?)

I wondered about that. The name "Torchwood" is mentioned during the Eccleston season of Who, and I thought, "That can't be coincidence!"
Did you see Barrowman as the singing SS Officer who starts of Springtime for Hitler in the Producers? He looked hot, and has a great voice!

Before appearing as Captain Jack in Dr.Who last year, the only other thing I ever saw him in was Shark Attack 3:Megalodon.

He was in a short-lived prime-time soap called Titans here in the US, which co-starred Casper Van Dien. I saw an episode or two of it, but then it was gone! He was also in Darren Star's post-Melrose Place/pre-Sex in the City show Central Park West. They tried everything to keep that show on the air, but it just didn't click with viewers. I remember a particular bitchy exchange in which a character asked Racquel Welch, "Have we met?" to which she responded, "Should I care?"
Still, you've got to love a naked man who can hide a pistol!
