If you've ever read a comic featuring the Creeper, you undoubtedly couldn't forget the surreal styling of the character or his trademark laugh. This June, the Creeper is back in a new, ongoing series written by Steve Niles with art by Justiniano. We caught up with Niles to learn more about his plans.

I notice he says that Batman and Creeper will be meeting for the first time. More fuel for the fire of trying to determine what the nature of the post-Infinite Crisis DCU will be...

Sounds excellent! I love Creeper, but I thought that the Kaminski series from a few years back was mediocre. This one sounds great.

I've always loved the Creeper, but I've been disappointed in a lot of DC's efforts with the character over the past few years. Niles sounds like he has a good grasp on the character. I'll definitely be checking this one out.

Sorry guys, my mistake. It's actually a six-issue mini and has been corrected.

I really liked the Kaminski series. Had a nice dark sharp humorous edge to it. Kaminski hinted that the Creeper personality was some type of immortal creature. And he had the Creeper stage a riot at Arkham Asylum to stop the Joker. :D

Okay, i've read a grand total of, like, one comic that had the Creeper in it. Would this miniseries be something that a Creeper neophyte could get into?

I'm not in favour of yet another reboot of the Creeper, but this creative team is very promising. (Though some of the stuff Niles mentions was touched upon in the Kaminski series.)
But... Jack Ryder is a liberal? Is that true? The guy always struck me as a candidate for Fox News.

I thought it was a great series too (loved the Arkham story + the one with hamburgers making people go crazy!) and will be giving this mini a look-in because of Kaminski's run/take on the character was such good fun. :D
