I've heard recently on the net that JLU is going to be cancelled, and it seems like all the great series made by Bruce Timm and his team are starting to die out, all in favor of promoting poorly done shows like The Batman.
Anyone here know whether or not he'll make any new series, or if possible maybe work for marvel?
In any case, let us pay our respects to this great man who helped bring animation to a new level of sophitication.

I can't comment on a new animated series but he has been confirmed for being writer on Detective after the the crossover at the beginning of Batman/Tec OYL...

That was Paul Dini not Bruce Timm.
As for the DCAU, I heard the that the Legion of Superheroes cartoon is suppose to continue where JLU left off. Without the original team behind it I don't see how that's possible.

Ooops...I get the two mixed up.
Yea, LoSH might have a hard time getting it's feet wet with the group behind it.

Working for Marvel? I know I'd love to see what he could do with some of the Marvel characters in a series. Would love to see something with Spiderman personally.

I heard a mixture of things. Timm is involved. Timm is not involved. People from JLU and Teen Titans are involved. New people are involved. Supergirl is not in it. So I don't know.
There should be annoucement pretty soon.
Bruce Timm is a talented guy. I think he'll find work somewhere. It'd be cool if he did more comics work.

Personally I'd love to see his take on Marvel characters. Not very likely, but a girl can dream, right?

Yea...
Why do you think CN keeps putting off the the new season of JLU time and time and time and time and time again...?
I just assumed it was Lex Luthor's latest evil plot...

I doubt Legion will draw the fanbase needed to survive past a season.
Anyone know if its getting cancelled due to ratings or did he decide to call it quits, either way, yea it is an end of an era...
