While I hope Choi has a great new project coming next, I am thrilled to see the news of Adriana Melo taking over at penciller. (I'm not familiar with the inker or colorist's work, but I'm sure they'll be great.) I really love Adiana's stuff though, and am thrilled that I'll get to see it on a monthly basis now.

I'm sad to see Choi leave Witchblade, but I'm really looking forward to seeing what the new art team can do.
I just hope that Ron doesn't plan on leaving the book anytime soon.
Also, the colorist Sonia Oback was the regular colorist on WB since #92, and the inker is actually the sister of DC artist Ed Benes. Talk about talent running in the family. :)

I probably was the only fan who hasn't really liked Choi's pencils on the book. I liked the fact that he and Ron cut out the T&A portion of the book, but IMO Choi's pencils are to clean for the book.
Witchblade to me has always been a combo between the sci-fi nature of X-men combined with the Detective aspects of Batman. Choi's art just isn't edgy enough for me to enjoy the book. My personal favorite Witchblade artists have been Turner and Brian Ching.
I hope they decided to put Choi on some other titiles though. I could def see him doing a Necromancer, Magdelena, or Tomb Raider run.

Ron tends to luck out as far as artists are concerned so I'm not worried about the quality of the book going down.

Adriana Melo is a great artist. The covers for Birds of prey have been top notich. Issue 90 was her best cover yet.
