Absolutely! Mega Man 2 was so awesome.

In fact... I remember having a severe headache from staring at the TV screen so long... And still playing Lolo, regardless.

River City Ransom
I'll second this one. Quite possibly my favorite game off all time. Love the one liners the villains would scream out. Close behind are the first Zelda, and Mario Bros. 3. It's all about the hammer bros. suit.

Duck tales.
Amen, brother. Amen! I remember owning and playing that game endlessly as a kid. It was weird. Technically, it had zero replay value, but I just loved it! Playing it made me feel like I was watching an episode where I controlled what happened next! :D

Man, there's been some good games listed so far. What about Legacy of the Wizard? Did anyone play that?
Let's not forget the revolutionaries: Final Fantasy and Dragon Warrior. They both spawned an empire.
I loved Lifeforce as well. Awesome game.
There's too many to list. Mega Man 2/3, Castlevania 1/2/3, Startropics, Zelda, Lode Runner, Rygar...The list goes on and on.

Yeah, it was the two-on-two or one-on-one game. I think it was one of the first games you could play with 2 people against the computer. My buddy and I used to rock it.

Anyone play the Darkwing Duck game that came out in the late days of the system? Darn good. Not as good as Duck Tales, though.
And Tecmo Bowl might be the best sports video game ever. No exaggeration.

Tecmo Super Bowl. All the awesomeness of Tecmo Bowl, but with full seasons and all the teams. The last 5 years I had my NES, this was the only game in it. My NES actually got to a point where it would not play any other game.

I had already got Sega Genesis when this came out.
But i would play it over my friends house all weekend. We'd do a whole season in a couple of days. It was really the first sports game I remember doing this with.
